April Product Update

We hope you and your church had a wonderful Easter weekend! Now that things are slowing down (or maybe not slowing down), we wanted to share some recent product updates: Schedule replies from the inbox, send notes with the Planning Center Add-On, tag contacts when importing a CSV, and more. Check out all the changes below!

Schedule messages from your inbox

When having one-on-one conversations in your inbox, you can now schedule replies! This is helpful if you're working early in the morning or late at night and don't want to send your response right away 👌

Updates to our Planning Center Add-On

Did you know you can send texts directly from your Planning Center account using our Add-On? And now, when you're creating a new message in Planning Center, you can attach a note. Notes let you create and send long-form content like announcements, sermon notes, prayer requests, or even a PDF of volunteer instructions. Just choose a note from your Note Library or create a brand new one.

We've also made a small design improvement to make it easier to attach an image in the Planning Center Add-On.

Tag contacts when importing a CSV

When importing a list of contacts, you can easily tag your subscribers. Perfect for marking people as first-time guests, volunteers, or members of a specific campus.

Include sms, mailto, and tel links in your microsite

A microsite is a custom landing page that includes your church's most important info. And now, you can add sms, mailto, and tel links to your microsite to let people quickly text a prayer request, email your team, or call a pastor.

New option to disable tracking for emails

If you include links in your emails, and you experience deliverability issues, you can now disable click and open tracking. Tracking links is helpful, but because of how it works, some email providers are more likely to flag these emails as spam. Disabling tracking can allow you to build a better reputation with email providers, and establish yourself as a trusted sender.

Decreased prices for Australian churches

We recently negotiated better texting rates in Australia, and we're passing on those savings on! Australian texting plans now include substantially more texting credits at no extra cost (about 130% more on average!) 🎉
